The training is very professional. It focuses on Clinical Hypnotherapy; treating clients for smoking cessation, weight loss, treatment for traumatic events in childhood and many other issues. The Heartsong Hypnotherapy Center is very thorough and provides a student with professional training to become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. Once Certification is completed, 15 continuing education units are required per year, governed by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners in California, to maintain Certification.
Fred has also been trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypno-Anesthesiology, the ability to teach a client to be able to induce their own pain management. Fred has successfully practiced Hypnosis since the early 1960’s and became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2001. Nancy has been doing hypnotherapy since 2004 and became certified in 2006.
Nancy has a BA and over twenty years experience as a high school teacher and social worker. She is also RASAC 11 certified, working with substance abuse clients. She has recently been certified as a HypnoBirthing practitioner by the "Mongan Method", an approach to safer, easier and more comfortable birthing.
We have enjoyed over forty years of combined experience successfully helping people through Social Work and Hypnotherapy.
